<p>The Meadowcroft German Market has become hugely popular since it opened in 2015 and what started as handful of stalls has grown into something bigger and better, with 30 handcrafted chalet-style stalls packed with handpicked artisan products. Think carved wooden decs, delicate glassware and baubles and traditional cuckoo clocks. Naturally there is Glühwein, as well as gingerbread, apple strudel and Bratwurst to keep you fuelled. Plus, there are nights on 13, 20 &amp; 27 Nov, and 4 &amp; 11 Dec, when they will be open until 9pm.</p>

<p>Stop by the Tiptree Tea Room Marquee for local craft and gift stalls, delicious food and festive drinks and we&#8217;re hoping, plenty of jam! Bring the dog, they are welcome too, plus kids can enjoy some festive activities and see Santa in his Grotto.</p>

<p>Get into the spirit with a relaxed evening of shopping and Santa. You&#8217;ll find stalls for shopping, mulled wine for supping and mince pies for scoffing! Father Christmas will be there with his elves, as well as some animals from the farm. Food will be available in the Tea Room too.</p>

The Giving Tree is back at Braintree Village, in partnership with<a href="https://www.firststopcentre.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> First Stop Centre</a>, for another season of spreading cheer in the local community. Simply pick a tag from the pink tree (located in the Middle Mall near Cadbury&#8217;s) and donate a gift to a local family in need, helping to brighten their Christmas too.</p>

<p>With stores in Chelmsford, Basildon, Southend, Colchester, Harlow and Romford, taking part in Dunelm&#8217;s Delivering Joy campaign couldn&#8217;t be easier. Give a gift to someone in your community who might otherwise go without one this Christmas by picking a tag, buying or making whatever is on that tag and dropping it off in store.</p>

There&#8217;s festive refreshments and hot drinks to enjoy as you browse, plus you get a free mince pie on arrival. You&#8217;ll find gourmet food, indie makers and local artisans, all in one beautifully decorated setting. This sounds like Christmas shopping we could actually get excited about!</p>
