<p>First up on our celeb spotting in Essex is popular eaterie,&nbsp;<a href="https://alecsrestaurant.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Alec’s</a>. Denise Van Outen’s a regular at this restaurant famed for its seafood, tucking into scallops, oysters and mussels on a recent visit. We&#8217;ve also spied Tom Skinner enjoying their crème brûlée, seen a birthday soiree for Megan McKenna, and know Vicky Pattison recommends their potato dauphinoise, which she says “are to die for”.</p>

<p>“I don&#8217;t care what anyone says – spa weekends are good for the soul,” said Vicky Pattison when she stayed at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.downhall.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Down Hall</a>. “The food is amazing – make sure you try one of their stone baked pizzas – and Down Hall itself is beautiful, gorgeous grounds and the room was fabulous!” Ferne McCann agrees, saying she “was blown away with how unbelievable the spa facilities and food was.”</p>

<p><a href="https://www.marshfarm.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Marsh Farm</a>&nbsp;is another great place to do some celeb spotting in Essex, starting with <em>EastEnders</em>&#8216; star Jacqueline Jossa and husband Dan Osborne. They’re big fans of this adventure park and love to take their brood on the rides and see the animals. Denise Van Outen also loves to visit, and was last spied there picking a pumpkin with daughter Betsy.</p>

<p>Back in August Lucy Meck celebrated her birthday at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.roslinhotel.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Roslin Beach Hotel</a>&nbsp;with fiancé Ryan Thomas and their sons. Why the Roslin? Ryan’s Insta doesn’t give much away, but we’re guessing its award-winning restaurant, sea views and chic outside dining space had something to do with it. Lydia Bright also stayed with her family back in April, and Frankie Essex, Tyson Fury and Denise Van Outen (I spy a pattern!) are also regularly spotted.</p>

<p>Celeb spotting in Essex is pretty much standard in&nbsp;<a href="https://sheeshrestaurant.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sheesh</a>. Ready? For a start Hollywood A-lister Russell Crowe’s popped in for a bite to eat. Added to that are Harry Kane, Ray Winstone, Alan Sugar, Denise Van Outen(!), Leigh Francis and Gazza. Oh, and also Katherine Ryan, Kate and Rio Ferdinand, and pretty much any <em>TOWIE</em> star you want to shake a kebab stick at.</p>

Another high end seafood restaurant popular with a ton of celebs, David and Victoria Beckham have dined here, as have TV stars Sam and Billie Faiers. Oh, and Denise Van Outen.</p>

And guess who else likes to visit? You got it: it’s the lovely Denise Van Outen again!</p>
