The gardens awash with vibrant colour, along with atmospheric music really does make for an enchanting experience, for kids and adults alike. <h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-dazzling-displays">DAZZLING DISPLAYS</h3>

<p>Think you’ve seen it all before? This year promises to be even more immersive and for the first time at<a href="https://www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/hyde-hall/whats-on/hyde-hall-glow?utm_source=muddystilettos&amp;utm_medium=ad-rhs&amp;utm_campaign=glowmuddystilettos&amp;utm_content=hydehall-image-glowmuddystilettos" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> RHS Glow Hyde Hall</a> you can venture into the tiered Robinson Garden with its panoramic views. Sitting in a natural dell, the garden will have glowing vistas beside illuminated bridges for an enchanting, dream-like journey. You’ll also be mesmerised by Mycelium, a twinkling web of 2,500 fibres inspired by nature’s hidden networks, as well as get to walk beneath the atmospheric Roman Arches. The Lights on the Lake show is spectacular, as you meander down Clover Hill and head to the cabins for a winter warmer (we’re thinking something mulled with a splash of something stronger!).</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-festive-feels">FESTIVE FEELS</h3>

<p>While to does feel pretty romantic <a href="https://www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/hyde-hall/whats-on/hyde-hall-glow?utm_source=muddystilettos&amp;utm_medium=ad-rhs&amp;utm_campaign=glowmuddystilettos&amp;utm_content=hydehall-image-glowmuddystilettos" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RHS Glow</a> is not just for the adults – the kids will be mesmerised as they follow the winding magical trail up onto the Hilltop. And if they’ve visited RHS Hyde Hall during daylight hours before they’ll love the excitement of being there after dark (is there anything more exciting when you’re a kid?) –&nbsp;they’ll watch in awe as they take in the magnificent trees and shrubs shimmering under the inky night sky. As you all wander back down the hill, don’t forget to stop and take a moment to look back up –&nbsp;it’s absolutely breathtaking and makes for a stunning backdrop for a family photo (family Christmas card in the making!). The winter gardens will be another hit with the kids –&nbsp;seeing the willow sculptures come alive with colour is a memory that you’ll all take home with you.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-naughty-but-nice-food">NAUGHTY BUT NICE FOOD</h3>



<p>The cabins by the Lake will be open again this year. Grab yourself a spot, wrap up and warm and enjoy some of the delicious food on offer, as well as the festive atmosphere. Whether you fancy a German-style hot dog, seasonal burger, a steaming cup of hot chocolate or something spiced. ‘Grab and go’ not your style? New for this year the Gardener’s Rest Restaurant at the top of the hill will be open offering seasonal flavours while you enjoy the captivating views.</p>

<p>Everyone will enjoy a browse around the <a href="https://www.rhs.org.uk/shop" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RHS Hyde Hall Garden Centre</a>. It’s difficult to walk through without popping something in your basket during the rest of the year, but at Christmas it becomes a real treasure trove! Kids will love the selection of beautiful books and nature-inspired toys, while for the grown-ups it’s the unique jewellery and tasty treats that might be hard to resist. Stock up on a few tree decorations as a souvenir, or choose unusual gifts for loved ones (don’t forget a treat for you –&nbsp;thank yourself in advance all the festive organising you’re about to head in to). Visiting closer to the big day? There’s UK-grown Christmas trees available as well as festive houseplants and gorgeous wreaths that will rival your neighbours.</p>
