<p>Already successful in London with its flagship store,<a href="https://www.jorjahealthcare.com/leigh/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Jorja Healthcare</a> has opened its doors on Eastwood Road North. We got a glimpse inside at the opening and we&#8217;re excited about what&#8217;s on offer! There&#8217;s a huge range of private services available, and for less than you might expect. Need to see a GP urgently? There&#8217;s one-off appointments available for a very reasonable £39. There&#8217;s also pain management, spinal treatments, dermatology and podiatry, plus aesthetics, and alternative therapies not available on the NHS.</p>

<p>Islanders have seen two new openings this month, both at two of the seafront&#8217;s most eye-catching buildings! The long-awaited opening of the seaside café at Thorney Bay is what everyone&#8217;s talking about with the arrival of the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/streetandco_coffeeshop/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Street &amp; Co Coffee Shop</a>! As well as being able to pick up a hot drinks for winter walks, you can also join them for a Wine &amp; Cheese by the Bay evening on<strong> Fri 28 Nov</strong>, or Festive Wreath Making on <strong>Fri 21 Nov</strong>. <p>Further along the seafront, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sapore_the_italian_house/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sapore</a>, an exciting new Italian has opened at the upstairs of the iconic Labworth building. With wide views of the Estuary and authentic food (with wines to match), we can&#8217;t wait to get our fill of the new menu!</p>

<p>Okay so there&#8217;s a bit of a wait for this one, but word on the street is that <a href="https://www.thewhitecompany.com/uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The White Company</a> is set to open its second Essex store at Lakeside Shopping Centre, West Thurrock, Spring 2026. We&#8217;ll start saving for Seychelles Collection candles now!</p>

As with many local businesses the pressure of the current climate sadly means its doors have been closed, but the team promise to one day, somehow, get back to slinging tacos to you on a Tuesday!</p>
