You’ll find The Coffee Shed next to The Three Horseshoes pub, in the charming village of Fordham, Colchester. More than a quick coffee stop, this is the kind of place you’ll want to sit a while and enjoy the surroundings. Maybe partake in a little freshly-baked cake action, or something heartier for lunch.

The outside seating area has a secure courtyard, to keep pups and little ones safe if you’re staying a while, but takeaways are available if you can’t stop. Be sure to pop back though to sample the Dingley Dell bacon cro-buns, freshly cooked to order, or the home-baked cakes, cookies and sausage rolls. Vegan and gluten-free options are available too. Even pick up an artisan sourdough loaf to take home, made by local baker Ovi! At weekends you’ll find sweet and savoury croissants.

Whatever the weather, swing by and grab a seat, hopefully in the sun, or maybe wrapped in a blanket. Dogs and horses are welcome too!
