Local favourites<a href="https://www.acanteen.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> ACanteen</a> and <a href="https://www.dogandpickle.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Dog &amp; Pickle</a> have teamed up with booze connoisseurs <a href="https://essexspiritsco.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Essex Spirits Company</a> to create their very own bespoke gins. The first is a sunny little number made with grapefruit and vanilla while the Moreton gastro pub has opted for something more citrus-y. Yum. The best part? Each one is distilled using sustainable methods. Cheers to that!&nbsp;</p>



<p>Or, if cocktails are more your thing, head down to <a href="https://www.ginnysbar.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ginny’s Cocktail Lounge</a> in Maldon where they are playing host to a brilliant new monthly book club with neighbours <a href="https://maldonbooks.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Maldon Books</a>. Each month they’ll be a discussing a top new tome over a tipple or two and there might even be the odd author cameo, too. Oh, and did we mention it’s completely free to book? Fab.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Run by husband-and-wife team Daniel and Natalie Reynolds, its organic baby clothes and hand-printed tees have become a firm favourite with the likes of Fearne Cotton and Giovanna Fletcher.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Speaking of sprogs, family-favourite <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.audley-end-railway.co.uk/" target="_blank">Audley End Miniature Railway</a> has just launched a brand new online shop featuring all of its much-loved magical toys and keepsakes – great if you’re in need of some gift inspo. While over at <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.omdfarm.co.uk/" target="_blank">Old Macdonald’s Farm</a>, there’s an adorable new indoor play village to keep you and the kiddos entertained on rainy days.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
