Free range turkeys have been raised at Salix Farm for more than 60 years, so it’s fair to say they know their stuff. Their hand reared, free range birds get to chomp on at least 70% cereals with no animal protein – and are never given antibiotics or additives to promote growth. Essex Ed Claire’s gone to Sparlings for her turkey for years. Why? For a start when you see them strutting around the field they chat back (gobble at one next time and listen as they gobble back!).
