This popular pop-up is back and filled to the brim with goods crafted by the seaside town’s most talented artists, makers, designers, potters, painters and photographers. Head to the event from 12-4pm to bag you and your loved ones a plethora of unique gifts – all loving handmade and locally produced.
Offering up a trad Christmas market in the centre of its festive spectacular, Essex Christmas Wonderland really is your one-stop-shop for all Noel activities this year. Think fairground rides, ice-rink sessions, mulled-wine tastings and, of course, a quality selection of Christmas-themed goodies to pick up from the artisanal market. Just be sure to congratulate yourself with an eggnog (or three) when the Xmas shop is officially done ; )
This German-style affair delivers more than 30 Yuletide stalls and is the perfect pit-stop for stocking fillers. We love the handmade candles, traditional kids’ toys and cosy woollen gloves you can snap up before celebrating with a seasonal bratwurst sausage and beer.
Festive parade packed with excited locals? Tick. Talented street performers to keep the kids entertained? Check. Faux-snow finale as this annual all-day celebration closes with a bang? You better believe it! Promising a packed shopping day full of independent retailers and plenty of holiday cheer to boot, Billericay’s Christmas Market is one to add to your iCal immediately.
With more than 60 stalls laden with luxury goods, a glorious Santa’s Grotto for excited little ones to lose themselves in (plus a selection of quality vendors for fussy foodies to choose from while they wait), you can’t go wrong with this community-focused festive event, that serves up charm and festive cheer in equal measure.
An annual favourite with families and artists alike, this Christmas Farmers’ and Craft Market is one to hit for all your seasonal essentials. Cue fresh artisan foods to accompany the Christmas Day dinner, as well we handmade gifts for even the fussiest of recipients. It’s worth hitting for the Insta-worthy Xmas decorations alone.
While outdoor stalls will populate Stoneham Street for that German-fair vibe, a selection of indoor stalls will also await shoppers in the Village Hall, meaning Coggeshall is going to be a Yuletide shopping dream for those on the hunt for original pressies to place under the tree this year. Also good: a selection of artisanal-food stalls are officially on standby for that all important mid-shop refuel. See you there…
Dreaming of a white Christmas? Well, while Cromwell Manor can’t guarantee snow, it does deliver a slice of childhood nostalgia, serving shoppers at the traditional market with a classic Christmas movie on the big screen, as well as roasted chestnuts hot from the fire pit. It doesn’t get more authentic than this, ladies, so grab the whole family and head down for a day of pure Christmas magic!
