Hosting a number of creative workshops at Barleylands Craft Village in Billericay throughout December, Little Tin Shed Flowers promises to deliver all the materials and expertise you’ll need to produce a truly luxury Christmas wreath. Whether you’re into contemporary designs or the traditional red bows and berries look, pro florists will be on hand to help you curate your festive foliage hero piece. Price includes all materials, tools and parking, and sessions last for two hours.
Being held in Colchester’s opulent Wivenhoe House, Amnesia Flowers’ Christmas wreath-making workshops run at various times throughout December and promise to teach you everything you need to know about crafting your own signature wreath. Join for a two-hour morning tutorial from 10.30am to enjoy pastries and tea; afternoon session from 12.30pm for a side of high tea; or hit the evening class from 7pm for prosecco and pizza.
Head to Prested Hall in Feering this December for a fun-packed festive workshop with pro florist Debbie, who will be on hand to guide you through the creative process – and top up your prosecco/mulled wine! All materials are included in the price, but feel free to bring along your own personal decorations to add to your bespoke Christmas creation. Run by the Essex Wildlife Trust in Fringringhoe Wick Nature Discovery Park, this gem of a wreath-making workshop offers a real get-back-to-nature vibe – and some serious wreath-making knowhow to boot. Led by Kirsty, Fingringhoe’s Education Officer and resident creative-foliage pro, this feel-good community event will be held on 30 November from 10am to 1pm and you’ll be invited to head out into the wildlife park first to forage for your own foliage. It doesn’t get more ‘Christmas spirit’ than this, gang!
Having led wreath-making workshops for more than 10 years, it’s fair to say Leigh-on-Sea-based florist Sarah (who has 25 years worth of experience in the field) can show you a thing or two when it comes to putting together a scene-stealing showpiece. Hosted in Re:Creation’s purpose-built Southend studio, each class of 10 will get to work on their displays during this 90-minute masterclass, while enjoying festive songs and refreshments to keep up the creative energy! Workshops run from 3-11 December.

Stock Florist’s Luxury Fresh Foliage Wreath Class & Decor event on 12 December might just be what you’re looking for.
